Giants get a close one against the Bengals, win 19-17

Daniel Jones had to leave the game in the third quarter with a hamstring injury and replaced by Colt McCoy, but that didn’t stop the Giants from getting their third win in a row, putting themselves in a tie for first place in the NFC East with Washington, even though they both have a 4-7 record.

New York Giants Coach Joe Judge, when asked about Jones’ availability, responded “”I won’t say I’m optimistic at this point right now. No, I don’t want to go ahead and say yea or nay because I don’t have the medical information. You know, I’m sure he’s going to try everything he can.”

New York squeaked by against the Cincinnati Bengals today, managing to win on the leg of Graham Gaho.
New York scored first, getting a touchdown from Wayne Gallman after a 9 play, 76 yard drive by the Giants to make it 7-0 after the extra point kick was good. However, the Bengals came right back to tie the game at seven, when Brandon Wilson took the kick return all the way back to the end zone for a touchdown.
Both Giants and Bengals scored on a field goal to tie the game for a half time score of 10-10.
New York chewed up a lot of clock coming out of the break, getting a nice drive of 11 plays for 72 yards, but had to settle for a field goal, breaking the tie 13-10, then increased their lead with another field goal, making it 16-10.
Giants then scored another field goal to make it 19-10, and with the clock dwindling down, the Bengals scored a touchdown.
